This is an annual English language abstracting journal. Its aim is to make the most important publications (studies, articles, monographs) of Hungarian LIS research available internationally. It also contains a short bibliography of foreign language publications with Hungary-related topics from international LIS journals. The printed version was published biannually between 1972 and 2005 (HU ISSN 0046-8304). From 2010 it has been published in electronic format (HU ISSN 2061-9073), and within the exchange relations the LIS Library of the Hungarian Library Institute provides access to the PDF version for its partners using a password.
